This week, we made THIS Blueberry Muffin Protein Smoothie for breakfast and I'm still swooning. OMG so much yumminess in a mason jar. Just like my Orange Protein Shake and my Strawberry Protein Shake.

I really love how easy this recipe comes together, and how the flavors really remind you of a blueberry muffin. Is it exactly like a muffin, warm from the oven? No, to get that, I recommend making these homemade Blueberry Muffins.

But, for a quick breakfast smoothie, this is definitely a keeper.

So simple, yet so delicious.  Plus -- you know -- all those other good things, like high protein, no added sweeteners, no processed junk, clean eating, and other goodness. (For more information about eating clean check out my guide to Eat Clean.)

Ingredients For Blueberry Muffin Protein Smoothie

Ingredients for blueberry muffin protein smoothie.

Almond Milk: I recommend that you use unsweetened almond milk. Any milk of choice will work for this recipe, however.

Blueberries: I love protein shakes with just about any fruit! Instead of blueberries, you can also try bananas, strawberries, mangoes, or raspberries.

Vanilla Protein Powder: To give my shakes that vanilla taste, I opt for this vanilla protein powder, which can also boost the flavor of your shake.
