This smoothie is seriously delicious. Not only is it packed with protein Orange Protein Shake and my Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Protein Shake -- but it's full of tasty and very nutritious blueberries. And if you’ve been around here for a while, you know how much I love blueberries, like in my Banana Blueberry Smoothie Bowl and Lemon Blueberry Sorbet.
Like I’ve said before (and will probably say again), this smoothie is an incredible addition to your protein shake rotation. And honestly, it’s so good, I don’t see how you’d ever get tired of it—but if you do, the beauty is you’ve got tons of options to switch things up.
It’s built on a simple formula: frozen fruit, protein, and milk. So if you love experimenting, try swapping in different fruits, playing around with protein flavors, or even changing up the milk. The combos are endless.
Ingredients For Fit and Slim Smoothie
Blueberries: You can use fresh or frozen blueberries in this recipe—both work great. If using fresh, look for berries that are firm, plump, and deep blue in color. Frozen blueberries are super convenient, budget-friendly, and perfect for creating a thick, cold texture in smoothies. You can experiment with any kind of fruit in this smoothie -- try adding bananas, strawberries, mangoes, or raspberries.
Vanilla Protein Powder: To give my shakes that vanilla taste, I opt for this Cleanish Vanilla Protein Powder, which can also boost the flavor of your shake.
Almond Milk (or milk of choice): I recommend that you use unsweetened almond milk. Any milk of choice will work for this recipe, however.
